Model 2 9'6 x 23 x 3
The Model 2 is my go-to, all-around longboard. When I set out to design it, I wanted a board that I could toss in my car and head to the beach, no matter the conditions, without second-guessing whether it would work. To me, that meant creating a board that could perform in all types of surf—from low tide, pocket waves to softer, longer faces. After several iterations, I’m confident I’ve achieved that goal.
The Model 2 features a balanced outline with the wide point centered, and a nose that offers enough surface area for smooth, controlled noserides—even through softer sections. Its rolled belly bottom ensures seamless flow through turns, while the involvement style rails offer a catch-free, responsive feel, making for effortless glide and maneuverability. It’s a longboard that adapts to any wave, delivering a classic, fluid surfing experience.
