Fish 5'8 x 22 x 2 1/2 34L

$995.00

The fish shape is widely regarded as one of the fastest shapes on the market. But speed alone isn’t enough—control is just as crucial. That’s why I’ve been experimenting with the idea of blending a flat deck in the first half of the board into a domed deck through the tail, aiming to strike the perfect balance between speed and maneuverability.

The flat deck design offers great paddle power and helps add volume to a shorter plan shape. However, it can present challenges: adding too much foam near the rails can make it harder to engage them during high-speed turns. My goal was to create a fish that captures the classic paddle power, speed, and projection, while still delivering control at high velocities.

The front of the board maintains extra foam due to the flat deck, but instead of carrying this foam throughout, I’ve introduced a reverse taper to remove excess material beneath your feet. After years of refining this concept, I’ve finally found a way to merge function with form, and I’m thrilled with the result.

This fish is fast, loose, and provides instant speed off the takeoff, all while maintaining a high level of control

Designed to be ridden with wide base, traditional keel fins.
